  1. Congratulations on receiving a Town of Newmarket, Arts & Culture Grant. It was the article in the Era ( local paper ) regarding the award that led me to this – your wonderful website. Truly inspiring, especially to an avid reclaimer like me. Keep up the good work! Best wishes. Susan Ellscheid

  2. I just found your work! You’re a real visionary 🙂 I absolutely love the piece the Natural Heritage and Forestry Service commissioned. Agreed, I would love one of your works on my wall!

  3. anybody who works with wood and makes artistic creatures shows a special kind of souls and feelings. flexibility while strong . colorful while united . complex while simple i love these works dear olga

    1. olga66 – Ontario, Canada – My name is Olga Oreshyna and I would like to introduce myself as a Canadian emerging artist who is deeply passionate about woodworking. The source of my inspiration comes from abandoned pieces of wood. In my imagination I give them a second chance of the life. All wood for my works were already used before. I hope this is my small contribution to green building. Rather than cutting down trees to get the needed material, reusing wood is just as good if not better. This is my way of making a difference, at the same time I’m sharing a positive message on how we can recycle and reuse in creative ways. My artworks reflect my contribution to make our fragile environment more healthy and beautiful. So much plastic, metal, concrete surround us in our everyday life. Creating these amazing wooden structures I feel huge energy coming over my hands.

      Thank you so much, Jonathan.

  4. Wow. Found my way here from Daily Art Muse. I am so drawn to these! When I realize they’re made from simple wood scraps, I realize that you have somehow brought them to life. Perhaps like single notes make an orchestral piece? They are exquisite, and while ‘simple’, I feel like I could gaze into them for hours….

  5. Absolutely beautiful! At a time of transition in my life I find your pieces inspiring. You are a very gifted woman!! Thank you for sharing your passion!

  6. please keep doing on flat surface only its amassing, but when its comes to 3D its not on that level (i think flat ones have more dimensionless than 3D ones)

  8. I was so fortunatew to meet you at the July 3-5, 2015 – Montreal, MTL EN ARTS – EXHIBIT last weekend. I just felt in love with your artwork. I decided to buy a piece created in 2012 called ALWAYS BETWEEN. You are a real inspiring artist and I find it very interesting that your artwork is made of recycled wood. I really care about the environment and your art makes us reflect on how we should be taking care of Mother Earth. Continue on the Road of Success !
