“When my husband and I were conducting renovations in our living room in newly bought house 10 years ago I discovered what most people try to find their entire lives – my true meaning and purpose. Our project consisted of a wall filled with small wooden chunks assembled into a playful mosaic, which turned out to be a true masterpiece. And I suddenly realized I can’t stop doing this. I absolutely fall in love with wood. I just transformed it in smaller pieces which could be easily moved around and could be hanged in any other walls. Ever since that moment…”

From July 9 to July 28 2015, Arta Gallery in the Historic Distillery District will be showcasing a group collection of works that correspond to the concept of human power, will, anatomy, and sportsman-like perseverance.
