Artist Project Toronto Contemporary Art Fair

Discover Art that you can see, feel … and hear.
This March, I’m bringing my wooden sculptures to Artist Project Toronto Art Fair – and they are coming with more than just good looks.

My sculptural wood wall pieces are not only about form, texture, and the natural beauty of the wood – they also transform the way a space sounds.
Yes, they live on the wall.
Yes, they play with light and shadow.
But they also quietly reshape the room’s acoustic.

Each piece is carefully designed to diffuse sound, soften echoes, and create a place that feels calmer, warmer, more intimate. Think of it as Art that listen back.
I love working with wood because it holds both strength and softness – structure and rhythm. And besides, it brings harmony to interiors – visually and acoustically.

At the art fair, you’ll be able to experience the texture up close and may be even notice how the atmosphere feels different around it. Contemporary art can shape a space in more ways than one – and I’m excited to share that experience with you.
Come see it. Come hear it.

Custom Acoustic Wall Art – Contemporary Wood Wall Sculptures

I recently completed a custom acoustic wall art project for a private client in Quebec. The work included two large-format (30″ × 40″) handcrafted wooden sound diffuser panels designed specifically for their audio listening space.

This project was about combining acoustic performance with custom wood art and furniture design. Besides that, the goal was not only to improve room acoustics, but also to create statement pieces that visually anchor the entire audio wall.

Each sound diffuser panel was designed and handmade, using carefully selected natural wood. The assemblage pattern is not only decorative — it is designed to diffuse sound reflections, helping to reduce echo, standing waves, and sound coloration. This makes the panels ideal for listening rooms, home theatres, studios, and modern living spaces where sound quality matters.

The client requested large-scale pieces, so both diffusers were custom-sized and proportioned specifically for the wall and audio system. Every detail was considered: dimensions, depth, wood tone, and overall visual balance.

From the beginning, this project was treated as an art piece, not only as acoustic equipment. The panels needed to stand on their own visually, even if you didn’t know they were designed to work with sound. The acoustic function was important, but it followed the composition, scale, and rhythm of the design.
